少し前にテレ朝のミュージックステーションにガガが出演し、そのときの訳詞が日本ではまだ受け入れる人の多くない言葉を正確に伝えていたこともあります。


問題の部分の元の歌詞は

You’re black, white, beige, chola descent（黒人でも、白人でも、ベージュでも、チョーラの系統でも）
You’re lebanese, you’re orient（レバノン人でも、東洋人でも）

No matter gay, straight or bi（ゲイであろうと、ストレートであろうと、バイセクシュアルであろうと）
lesbian, transgendered life（レズビアンであろうと、トランスジェンダーの人生であろうとも）

I was born to survive（私は生き残るために生まれた）

訳は私が辞書を見ながらつけたものなので、おかしい部分があったら指摘お願いします。


NHKの訳は、

貧富の差も　肌の色も　国籍も関係ない
人生で困難があっても　いじめられ　からかわれても
自分を信じ　愛してあげよう
それがあなたの人生だから
性的好みなんてどうでもいい
私は正しい道を進んでいる　どんな困難も乗り越える


何が問題だったかというと、
はっきり言える点は

・“You’re black, white, beige, chola descent You’re lebanese, you’re orient”の部分を「肌の色も　国籍も関係ない」と訳したこと

・“No matter gay, straight or bi lesbian, transgendered life”を「性的好みなんてどうでもいい」と訳したこと

・歌詞を明らかに省略したこと
